Grown, made and bottled on our property, Serengale Vineyard Beechworth. The Chardonnay vines are 18 years old, on a gently undulating south facing part of our vineyard at around 320 meters above sea level. The grapes are handpicked and fermented in a mix of new and old French oak using wild, indigenous yeast. The wine is unfiltered with minimal handling.
The Row 16, Special release Chardonnay, is subtle and yet complex. Showing a nose of spice, peach and almond, the wine displays typical Beechworth minerality and structural citrus notes, along with reductive tones which show through the length of the palate. This well-balanced complex chardonnay is fabulous.
